Pitti Uomo 90 attendees noted the atmosphere of Pitti felt slightly less energized than usual, but even so, there were a lot of strong looks that commanded attention.
As a world-class trade show featuring the best menswear designers in the world, Pitti Uomo is also known as an event that represents a pilgrimage to Florence for sartorially-minded people from around the world, who celebrate men’s style by “dressing up and showing up” for Pitti Uomo every January and June.
Pitti has evolved to become theglobal event of the year for the menswear industry. This year, the number of street photographers exploded and aspiring fashion and style neophytes and aficionados alike showed up either to conduct business, write about men's style, or promote their names and brands.
